Inventory Management Specialist II - First Shift

Inventory Management Specialist II position at Thermo Fisher Scientific supporting lab services through stock management and customer support. Role involves using mobile scanning systems, processing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Use mobile app for replenishments, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, and returns processing
- Receive, inspect, and scan shipments; store items and maintain cycle count accuracy
- Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone; support internal partners with issue resolution
- Monitor stock levels proactively and flag gaps or operational risks
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members on workflow improvements and safety compliance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years customer-facing, retail stocking, warehouse, or inventory-control experience
- Proficiency with mobile scanning apps and basic Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills, particularly email
- Self-starter with attention to detail, accountability, and teamwork capability
- Ability to lift 30–40 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50 lbs
Compensation: $21.50/hr
