The RoleWe are currently seeking a highly experienced Backend Software Engineer with a strong Java background to join our Trading suite of products—including Rebalancing, Order Management System (OMS), and Investment Book of Record (IBOR).We’re building a scalable, tax-efficient trading & rebalancing platform for wealth management firms of all sizes. The platform will target sophisticated rebalancing strategies across equities, mutual funds and fixed income products and send trades to be completed in the market. You will play a significant role in driving complex, long-term technical designs from concept to delivery, ensuring our solutions are scalable, resilient, and secure. You will leverage your deep expertise in software design patterns and distributed systems to solve challenging problems and pioneer the adoption of new technologies. While you will educate and empower other engineers, this is fundamentally a hands-on technical leadership role where you will work closely with product and design teams to deliver exceptional products for our clients.Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York. The current range for this role is $187,000 - $234,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits.Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
