Estimate the crop yields and assisting with harvest sequence.*Compensation - $19.00 - $20.00*. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.## Job Description* Maintain a valid Driver’s License in good standing in order to operate a company vehicle.* Assist in Fruit Evaluation Management team duties* Monitor crop volumes and fruit sizing across various ranches.* Track trees for in-field fruit cataloging of characteristics and growth.* Assist in the harvest sequence and direction of harvest crews.* Learn fruit sampling techniques for fruit grading and maturity analysis.* Assist in data entry and management of scientific resources* Training and supervision of seasonal workers.* Frequent travel to and from fields will be necessary (vehicle and fuel will be provided).## Qualifications* Familiarity with state specific food safety laws.* Ability to see the “big picture” business perspective, but is willing to “roll up their sleeves” and do whatever it takes to get the job done.* Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to provide guidance and assistance to all levels of employees.* Professional communication skills.* Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.* Ability to perform efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment.* Ability to be flexible and adaptable.* Demonstrated problem solving and conflict management skills.* Ability to employ creative and innovative thought processes.* Ability to perform analysis and communicate results effectively.* Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle software.**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:**Fruit Evaluation experience, with a specific emphasis in agriculture preferably within a production/manufacturing setting.
