E1 Lead Teacher

Role Description Fox Valley Montessori School is looking for a qualified Elementary Teacher for the E1 classroom (6‑9 years old). The E1 Teacher will lead the class in an established Elementary program and will work collaboratively with the E1 and E2 teams. The E1 Teacher will oversee the academic, social, and emotional development of students through the preparation and delivery of a Montessori-based curriculum. Responsibilities include lesson planning, guiding students in their learning activities, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, maintaining open communication with families, and ensuring alignment with the school's philosophy and values. The teacher will also be expected to contribute actively to the school community and attend relevant training sessions. Qualifications Montessori teaching certification required - completed certification is preferred; being in the process of obtaining certification will also be considered.
