LocationMount Pleasant, United States## About This RoleApollon Wealth Management is seeking a Director of Alternative Investments to join its Investment Management team in a remote or hybrid capacity. Apollon is a registered investment adviser serving high-net-worth individuals, offering proprietary strategies, separately managed accounts, direct indexing, and a broad suite of alternative investments.Role OverviewReporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer, the Director of Alternative Investments will play a central role in enhancing and supporting the Apollon investment platform. The position carries strategic responsibility for the firms alternative investment program across hedge funds, private credit, private equity, private assets, real estate, and 1031 Delaware Statutory Trusts.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor updates and changes to approved alternative investment strategies across the organization. Conduct rigorous operational and investment due diligence on alternative strategies. Present new strategy recommendations to the Apollon Investment Committee and report on macroeconomic trends. Assist financial advisors with portfolio construction for high-net-worth clients, incorporating alternative investments where appropriate. Manage third-party relationships with alternative investment sponsor firms and ensure product and marketing documentation remains current and accurate.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have 10 to 15 years of experience in financial services, including 6 to 8 years conducting due diligence on alternative investments.
