Technical Designer - Senior

As a Gensler Technical Designer, you will build upon the foundation of your architectural and design career by joining a team that turns ordinary spaces into works of art. Responsibilities Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production. Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives. Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings. Utilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design concepts and iterative design solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Licensed Architect preferred, but not required. 10+ years of related experience, including proven ability to deliver projects from beginning to end. Experience interpreting building code requirements in designs, coordination with consultants, and clear client communication during C.A. Revit proficiency required. Proficient in the use of 2D/3D software, including Revit, BIM360, Octane, SketchUp, Lumion, Rhino, V-Ray, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator). Experience using and applying VR and/or AR as applicable to the architectural design process is a plus. Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. LEED accreditation a plus. Salary & Benefits Base salary estimate: $107,000 - $140,000 annually, plus bonuses and benefits, contingent on relevant experience.
