Finance and Accounting Manager - Payout Focused (Bangkok Based, Relocation Provided)

What you’ll do Work closely with stakeholders to lead financial reporting and payout operations, understanding and assessing the impact of company initiatives. Manage and implement financial aspects of company projects from a finance/accounting perspective, including requirement gathering, user‑acceptance testing, workflow design, post‑go‑live monitoring, and troubleshooting. Identify and drive process and technology improvement opportunities. Provide financial performance reports and analyses to support management decision‑making. Address ad‑hoc requests such as data extraction, analysis, risk and scope assessments on new initiatives. Coordinate with operations and support units to ensure timely, accurate data for internal and external reporting. Manage day‑to‑day financial activities, controlling financial resources and ensuring compliance with regulations, accounting principles, and standards. Troubleshoot issues, identify financial reporting impacts, operational impacts, control gaps, and areas for improvement. Supervise day‑to‑day operations and month‑end closing for the related area. Maintain internal control environment compliant with corporate policy, anti‑corruption controls, and SOX requirements. Provide oversight, training, and coaching to department associates. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 5‑10 years of experience in finance operations (e.g., AP/AR), risk control, or finance functions, with demonstrated management level experience. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. Strong problem‑solving skills and creative thinking. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment with a growth mindset. Energetic initiative and strong communication skills. Experience in project management. Good command of spoken and written English. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proficient in PowerPoint and presentation composition. Advanced Excel proficiency. Familiarity with local/US GAAP and knowledge of financial and accounting management and internal control compliance. Preferred Qualifications CPA and audit background. Experience leading a team. Experience in payment solutions or credit card environment. Knowledge of SQL, data analysis tools, and macro Excel.
