As a Security Officer Patrol Officer in Normal, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic automotive location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help support a secure environment through visible presence and strong communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and verify credentials and/or visitor processes in accordance with site policies.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or hazards, and escalating issues through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Experience working in a primarily driving post is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
