Role Description The Assistant Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sarasota, FL. This position supports daily property management operations, including coordinating tenant communication, responding to inquiries, and assisting with lease administration. Responsibilities include scheduling and overseeing maintenance requests, helping with property inspections, and ensuring accurate documentation and recordkeeping. The role also involves supporting rent collection processes, preparing basic reports, and assisting with owner updates to maintain clear and timely communication. The Assistant Property Manager collaborates with the property management team to provide a high-quality experience for both owners and residents. Qualifications Ability to manage property operations, including tenant relations, lease support, and coordination of maintenance activities. Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail in documentation, recordkeeping, and scheduling. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with property owners, residents, vendors, and team members. Basic proficiency with property management software, office productivity tools, and digital communication platforms. Problem-solving skills and sound judgment for handling day-to-day issues and escalating matters when appropriate. Ability to work on-site in Sarasota, FL, with reliability in meeting deadlines and following established processes. Prior experience in property management, real estate, or customer service is preferred but not required.
