Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Lewiston, Maine. The role involves providing emergency care in a Level 2 trauma center that handles a wide range of patient populations, from pediatrics to geriatrics. This position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing dysrhythmias, ventilated patients, and a diverse set of clinical scenarios within a busy emergency department setting.

Job Details:

  • Location: Lewiston, ME
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC certifications; minimum of 0 years of experience; education in nursing; authorized to work in the United States
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a non-trauma emergency department, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, ventilated patient care
  • Unit Profile:

    • Facility is a Level 2 trauma center with four critical care bays and teleneurology support for stroke in collaboration with Mass General Hospital.
    • No PICU; transfer out required for critical pediatric cases.
