THE ROLE
Position : Bartender (Part-Time)
Location : Cannery Pier Hotel, Astoria, OR
Compensation : $17/hour + 80% tip share
Schedule : 3 to 4 nights per week. Must be able to work weeknights and weekends as needed | 3:30 PM – 9:30 PM Sunday through Thursday and 3:30 PM to 10:30 PM on Friday and Saturday.
We’re looking for a guest-focused, energetic, and creative Bartender to deliver an outstanding experience at Bar 600 . If you love connecting with people, crafting beautiful drinks, and being part of a collaborative team, we’d love to meet you!
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Deliver fast, friendly, and professional bar service to guests
- Prepare and serve cocktails and beverages to spec—classic and custom
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar environment
- Engage with guests to ensure a memorable experience
- Follow all health, safety, and liquor compliance standards
- Complete opening, running, and closing side work
- Accurately handle transactions and maintain cash drawer integrity
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience as a bartender preferred
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail recipes
- Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Detail-oriented, punctual, and team-minded
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand for long periods and navigate a fast-paced environment
Required Certifications
- Valid OLCC Alcohol Service Permit
- Current Food Handler’s Card
