As a Security Officer State Licensed Patrol Driver in Rochester, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor customer and associate activity to help support loss prevention efforts, assist with access control needs, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Assist with closing and opening activities, support crowd and line management during busy periods, and provide directions and general assistance to visitors, customers, and/or staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
