Radiology/Imaging - Radiation Therapist

Seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to safely administer prescribed radiation treatments for oncology patients under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist and Radiation Oncology Manager. The Radiation Therapist is responsible for performing radiation therapy simulations, delivering precise treatments while following ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles, operating advanced radiation therapy equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the course of treatment. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional cancer care.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology program required
• Registered or Registry-Eligible Radiation Therapist required
• Minimum one year of clinical Radiation Therapy experience required
• Kansas License for Radiology Technology required
• Registered or Registry-Eligible Radiologic Technologist RT(T) highly preferred
• BLS or CPR certification preferred (or obtained within 90 days of employment)
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles and ALARA standards required
• Experience operating radiation therapy treatment and simulation equipment preferred
• Excellent communication, patient care, and teamwork skills required
