Job Description

Specialty: Labor & Delivery

Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeks

Schedule: Variable shifts based on unit needs

Charting: EPIC (Required)

Float: Postpartum and potentially L&D at Swedish First Hill

Staffing Ratio: 1:1 to 1:3

Requirements

Active RN License (Compact accepted)

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience

EPIC experience required

First-time travelers accepted

Required Certifications:

• BLS
• FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring)
• NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate

Preferred: ACLS

Clinical Experience

Candidates should be proficient in:

• Labor & Preterm Labor management
• Circulating in OB procedures
• Pre-Op & Post-Op obstetric care
• Scrub experience
• Low-Risk Antepartum & Labor/Delivery
• OB-GYN patient care

Procedures & Equipment

Experience with:

• Blood & blood product administration
• Epidural, PCA & syringe pumps
• Cardioversion/Defibrillation
• Cooling & warming blankets
• Wound VACs
• Heparin, Insulin & Magnesium Sulfate
