Specialty: Labor & Delivery
Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeks
Schedule: Variable shifts based on unit needs
Charting: EPIC (Required)
Float: Postpartum and potentially L&D at Swedish First Hill
Staffing Ratio: 1:1 to 1:3
Requirements
Active RN License (Compact accepted)
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
EPIC experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring)
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate
Preferred: ACLS
Clinical Experience
Candidates should be proficient in:
- Labor & Preterm Labor management
- Circulating in OB procedures
- Pre-Op & Post-Op obstetric care
- Scrub experience
- Low-Risk Antepartum & Labor/Delivery
- OB-GYN patient care
Procedures & Equipment
Experience with:
- Blood & blood product administration
- Epidural, PCA & syringe pumps
- Cardioversion/Defibrillation
- Cooling & warming blankets
- Wound VACs
- Heparin, Insulin & Magnesium Sulfate
