Title - Automation Engineer

Pay Range - $40 - $45/hr

Mission:

This consultant will be working collaboratively as part of team that is preforming activities with Automation Development. In addition to the skill of automation development, they will also need to understand and write testing scripts for their work and be comfortable with error handling along with standard database interaction. Need a strong understanding and background of networking functions, such as Routing, Switching, and Network Security.

Daily Tasks / Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full stack applications across front-end, back-end, databases, and microservices
• Work with authentication, authorization, and communication flows within applications
• Build automation solutions and write modular Python code and custom Python libraries
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs
• Create and execute automated testing using pytest, unit testing, and Selenium
• Contribute to front-end development using HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, JavaScript, and React
• Automate network technologies including routing/switching, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS
• Work within cloud environments including Azure and AWS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on automation development initiatives
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) efforts for network devices and environments

Must Have Skills:

• 7+ years of Automation Development experience
• Senior-level Python 3 development experience
• Hands-on experience with Django Web Framework
• Oracle/SQL database experience
• Experience with Git/version control
• Strong front-end development skills:
• HTML
• CSS
• Bootstrap
• JavaScript
• React
• Expertise developing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Automated testing experience with pytest, unit testing, and Selenium
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience
• Strong networking infrastructure knowledge:
• Routing & Switching
• Network Security
• Router/Switch terminology and functionality
• Palo Alto Firewalls
• Experience with network automation technologies:
• Cisco
• Arista
• Palo Alto
• Cloud platform experience with Azure and AWS
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Plusses:

• Xray experience
