EHS Compliance Specialist

Job Summary Arcadis is currently seeking an early career Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance Specialist to join our team in the Dallas, TX office. This role supports a theme park client and involves overnight fieldwork during the first 3–4 months, with potential for future night shifts and overtime. Responsibilities Assist with environmental, health, and safety compliance projects and provide ad‑hoc compliance support. Conduct inspections, investigations, safety observations, job safety analysis, and risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and control unsafe hazards or risks. Provide environmental reporting support (TierII, Biennial Hazardous and Residual Waste Reporting, etc.). Support air permitting and compliance efforts. Assist with hazardous waste management support, including program development, characterization, vendor selection, and audits. Create detailed Excel spreadsheets based on permit requirements, audit results, or other tasks. Build client relationships and nurture repeat business by consistently exceeding client expectations. Perform other client‑specific EHS‑related duties as needed. Qualifications & Experience Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, or Bachelor of Engineering degree in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or Occupational Health and Safety, or an equivalent transcript of coursework. Preferred Qualifications One year of relevant work or internship experience in the EHS field. Basic knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations; OSHA program knowledge is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
