Travel RN - Operating Room - First Assist

American Traveler is seeking a credentialed RNFA for a 13-week OR First Assist travel assignment in California, requiring CNOR, CRNFA, and prior travel experience.

Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts (8:00–18:00)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Start Date: Aug 24, 2026

Length: 13 weeks

OR/surgical setting at an acute care hospital in California

2 weekends per month required

Split call coverage shared with another RNFA

Requirements:

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CNOR, and CRNFA
• Minimum 2 years of RNFA experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must complete a health system credentialing application upon offer acceptance — this process may take several weeks
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information:

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the assignment

In compliance with state pay transparency laws, we disclose that the estimated weekly pay range for this role is $3,190 - $3,545. The $3,545 weekly pay listed in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range.
