Travel Specimen Processor - LabPride Health is hiring a Travel Specimen Processor - Lab to support our client's healthcare team in Fayetteville, NC. Position: Specimen Processing Technician I (SPT I) Schedule: M-F 11am-8pm Location: Fayetteville, NC Job Type: contract Contract Length: 27 Week/s Pay Rate: $18.00/hr to $18.08/hr Weekly gross pay is based on a taxable hourly wage and daily lodging and meals & incidentals stipends based on USA GSA guidelines.Job DescriptionPerform specimen processing functions including presorting, centrifugation, aliquoting, imaging, and specimen pickup/delivery. Accurately enter and process laboratory data while meeting productivity and quality standards. Identify specimen types and follow testing, labeling, and compliance requirements. Maintain accurate, timely, and organized specimen processing. Follow laboratory safety, biohazard, compliance, and quality procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent. Basic computer and data-entry skills; ability to type 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes/hour. Medical terminology or laboratory knowledge preferred. Previous laboratory, hospital, or production experience preferred but not required. Must be comfortable sitting/standing for extended periods.
