Primary Care Medical Assistant (MA-C)

This is a temporary to hire opportunity for a Primary Care Medical Assistant (MA-C) at a clinic in Issaquah, WA. Candidates must be local, residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility, and willing to transition to a permanent position at the end of the contract period.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Experience Required: At least 6 months of experience working as a Medical Assistant in an Adult Outpatient Clinic. Pediatric Outpatient or Private Physician Office experience may be considered.
• Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Charting System: Experience with EPIC is required.
• Floating: No floating required between facilities.
• Transportation: Candidates must have reliable transportation and cannot use public transportation.
• Weekends: No weekend shifts are required.

Job Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide patient care within the scope of practice.
• Perform tasks such as rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and preparing charts.
• Assist with procedural tasks and follow up with patients as necessary.
• Manage and verify insurance information and assist with appointment scheduling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking supplies and preparing examination rooms.

The clinic caters to a diverse patient demographic, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
