Urgent Care Clinician | Maryland

Schedule
Start: ASAP
End: Ongoing PRN shifts
Hours: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Commitment: Minimum 6 to 8 shifts per month
Openings: 1

Position Overview
Provide urgent care coverage across multiple clinic locations as scheduled.

Clinical Scope

• COVID testing and general urgent care
• Physicals
• Procedures may include incision and drainage, suturing, digital block, pelvic exams, ingrown toenail and nail removal, silver nitrate or electrocautery treatment, tick removal, burn treatment, fluorescein stain and Wood’s lamp exam, dislocation reduction, EKG interpretation, and radiology interpretation with radiologist over read as noted

Patient Volume and Ages

• Ages 2 and older
• Up to 4 patients per hour

Site Details

• Provider works solo with medical assistant support, and some clinics may have RN or LPN support
• EMR: Experity, also referred to as VelociDoc
• Onboarding noted as about 1 week plus an in person shadow date

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland license
• Urgent care experience required
• Board certification as required by the site
• DEA required
