Traveling Physical Therapist Opportunity

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist assignment in Sugar Land, TX at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. This role provides 60 minute evaluations and treatment sessions and expects delivery of functional treatment programs that support patients' return to community activities. You will document care, write goals, complete quality indicators and letters of medical necessity, and participate in student supervision as assigned. The clinic emphasizes patient and employee safety, adherence to professional standards, and ongoing professional development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and document in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
• Ability to supervise and provide appropriate learning experiences for students when assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 60-minute evaluation and treatment sessions.
• Prior experience working in outpatient clinics treating orthopedic or musculoskeletal conditions.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and participation in performance improvement initiatives.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
• Assignment type: Outpatient Physical Therapist role with 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions.
• May be required to follow clinic policies for personal appearance, attendance and punctuality.
