Location: Washington, DC 3 days onsite

Most Important:

M365 Administration + End-User Support + Azure + Entra ID/AD + Windows Server + Intune/SCCM

Not looking for: Candidates who are primarily Security Architects or purely Azure/DevOps-focused . The role requires strong hands-on systems administration and end-user support experience.

Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud & Infrastructure Systems Administrator with strong Microsoft 365, End-User Support, Azure, and Windows Server experience, along with AWS and hybrid infrastructure knowledge.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure .
Provide End-User Support , troubleshooting, user account management, and technical assistance.
Manage Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory , including IAM, MFA, permissions, and user management.
Administer, patch, secure, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
Manage Intune and MECM/SCCM for endpoint, device, and software management.
Develop automation using PowerShell and/or Python .
Use Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
Administer VMware vSphere environments.
Manage networking , hybrid cloud connectivity, security groups, and load balancing.
Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.
Monitor infrastructure using Splunk, Azure Monitor, and AIOps technologies.
Design and test Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity solutions.
Implement infrastructure security, IAM, encryption, and compliance practices.
Collaborate with development and security teams on DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD initiatives.
Support Azure services including Entra ID, API Management, Front Door, VDI, Application Proxy, and Data Gateway .
Familiarity with Power Platform and foundational AI/ML concepts is a plus.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of enterprise systems administration experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Administration and End-User Support .
Strong Azure and AWS experience.
Strong Entra ID / Active Directory and Windows Server administration.
Experience with Intune/MECM/SCCM .
Strong PowerShell/Python scripting and automation.
Experience with Terraform/IaC .
Hands-on VMware vSphere experience.
Strong understanding of networking and hybrid cloud environments .
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and monitoring/AIOps tools.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/certifications preferred.
