Job Description

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and is registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic radiographic procedures and fluoroscopy.
• Conduct portable radiographic procedures and C-arm procedures.
• Provide OR imaging services and demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Knowledge of processing of CT systems, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Prior travel experience is required.
• ARRT certification is necessary.
• State licensure as a general radiographer.
