Senior Accountant & NetSuite Specialist — PE-Backed Growth

Senior Accountant (NetSuite Specialist) – Private Equity Environment We are currently partnering with a fast‑paced, private equity‑backed organization to identify a high‑caliber Senior Accountant to join their corporate finance team. This is a critical position designed for an independent, technically strong accounting professional who will serve as the NetSuite power user and play a key role in system optimization and acquisition integration. The Ideal Profile The successful candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, adaptability, and a proven track record of professional commitment: NetSuite Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of recent, hands‑on NetSuite experience is required, including direct involvement in a system implementation or major data migration. Accounting Foundation: 3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with demonstrated mastery of complex balance sheet and bank reconciliations. Professional Commitment: A history of stable, long‑term tenure with past employers, demonstrating the ability to see long‑term projects, system implementations, and business cycles through to completion. Environment: Prior experience navigating the fast‑paced, high‑growth cadence of a PE‑backed or M&A‑driven organization is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Drive full‑cycle accounting operations, including month‑end close, financial reporting, and PE reporting requirements. Serve as the internal NetSuite subject matter expert, handling GL maintenance, reporting, and data migration/GL mapping for new acquisitions. Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) processes, controls, and workflows. Prepare and review complex bank and balance sheet reconciliations independently. Leverage advanced Excel skills to streamline reporting and support ad‑hoc financial analysis. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience with Sales & Use Tax (SUT) or Treasury functions is a strong plus. Prior oversight or leadership experience within AP/AR functions. CPA is preferred but not required.
