Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
• Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC

Location Highlights

Etowah offers access to outdoor recreation and small-town convenience in southeast Tennessee. The city is about 15 miles from Hiwassee-Ocoee Scenic River State Park and about 35 miles from the Ocoee River, a destination known for whitewater rafting and hiking. Travelers can also reach the Cherokee National Forest within about 20 miles, with mountain scenery, trail access, and scenic drives throughout the region. Downtown Etowah includes the L&N Depot Museum and sits along U.S. Route 411, providing a quieter setting with road access to Chattanooga in about 1 hour and Knoxville in about 1 hour 45 minutes.
