Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current license as a Physical Therapist
• Experience within a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Familiarity with IEPs and adapting interventions to diverse learning needs
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Enthusiasm for fostering an inclusive and supportive educational community

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of students' physical abilities and needs within the school context
• Develop and implement tailored physical therapy interventions
• Monitor progress, update treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide consultation and training to staff regarding positioning, mobility, and adaptive equipment
• Promote a positive environment that encourages student mobility and independence
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records according to school policies
