MRI Technologist

Location:  Houston, Texas

Start Date:  06-22-2026

End Date:  09-21-2026

Contract Type:  Contract

Shift Type:  Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM with rotating weekend call coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans using Philips 1.5T and 3T systems
• Provide exceptional patient care during imaging procedures
• Maintain equipment and ensure optimal image quality
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
• Adapt to new Siemens 1.5T system coming in June 2025

Knowledge & Skills

• Philips 1.5T and 3T MRI systems
• Patient positioning and safety protocols
• Image quality assessment
• Emergency response during on-call situations

Requirements

• ARRT certification in MRI or ARMRIT accepted
• Experience with Philips MRI systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
