Locums - Belton, Missouri, Emergency Medicine Opening

Clinical Role

• Start date: December 10, 2026
• 3-month contract
• Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians
• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with Emergency Medicine experience will also be considered
• All experience levels considered if board certified

Schedule & Coverage

• Physician shifts include:
  • 7:00 am-5:00 pm
  • 1:00 pm-11:00 pm
  • 9:00 pm-7:00 am
  • 7:00 pm-7:00 am
  • 7:00 am-7:00 pm
• Must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
• Physician staffing varies by shift

Practice Setting & Patient Volume

• Average patient census: 81
• Approximately 12% ER admission rate
• Higher volume of Level 4 and 5 patients
• Higher-acuity patients may require intubations and central lines
• ICU available
• Neurology and psychiatric telemedicine/robot support
• No pediatric, plastics, neuro-interventional radiology, cath lab, or OB support

Procedures

• All standard Emergency Medicine procedures
• Intubations
• Central lines

Requirements

• Board certification required
• Active Missouri license required
• ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required
