Director, Respiratory Biologics - Global Real-World Evidence & Health Outcomes Research

Position Summary For GSK to generate robust health outcomes data that supports launch optimization, reimbursement, and sustained market position, the Director of Real‑World Evidence & Health Outcomes will support asset teams throughout the product lifecycle. The role is critical to ensuring each medicine GSK brings to market is supported by scientifically credible, high‑quality evidence that drives competitiveness and value‑based pricing. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Real‑World Evidence & Health Outcomes Research Lead for the Respiratory Biologics portfolio, the Director will lead planning, execution, translation, and dissemination of RWE and qualitative studies across a fast‑moving high‑priority program. Responsibilities Plan, design and execute RWE and qualitative research studies for high‑priority assets, managing timelines, deliverables, and budget. Assure quality of deliverables including review and sign‑off of project specifications, protocols, data analysis plans, final study reports, abstracts, posters, and manuscripts in adherence to SOPs. Ensure alignment of local data generation efforts with the global data generation plan and enable effective global‑local information sharing. Build strong working relationships with stakeholder groups across countries, including medical, market access, R&D, and commercial teams, to ensure strategic alignment and optimal cross‑functional collaboration and communication. Qualifications Master’s degree in health outcomes, patient‑reported outcomes, health economics, epidemiology, pharmacy, or a related life science field. 10+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a multinational environment. Experience with evidence generation planning and workshop development. Experience delivering detailed project and program plans. Experience managing studies and communications to a matrix organization in a fast‑paced environment. Experience with a variety of study designs, including prospective, cross‑sectional, and retrospective cohort RWE studies. Proficient in patient‑reported outcomes research. Knowledge of the diversity and complexity of healthcare markets, health technology assessment agencies, and reimbursement decision‑making globally and locally. Applied experience in utilizing evidence for the development of HTA submissions, reimbursement and/or medical engagement. Strong communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and to senior leaders. Preferred Qualifications Advanced scientific degree (e.g., PhD, PharmD) in health outcomes or a related discipline. Experience leading projects, client communications, and developing project plans from a health economics and outcomes research consulting perspective. Health economics and outcomes research experience in asthma. Methodology expertise to effectively deliver robust payer evidence and engage external experts and leaders. Compensation The US annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $185,250 to $308,750. The range reflects location, qualifications, and experience.
