Summary The Assistant Patient Care Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day supervision of nursing operations, ensuring quality care for patients and their families. Mentors, serves as a resource, and provides support for staff and faculty on clinical nursing issues while meeting the department, nursing, and organization goals. Oversees clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff. Job Title Assistant Patient Care Manager Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Minimum Field of Study: Nursing or other related field of study Minimum Education Notes: Associate's degree with BSN in process, to be completed within University program guidelines, not to exceed four (4) years from date of hire. Preferred Education Level: Master's Degree Preferred Field of Study: Nursing Licensure Certification Needed: Yes Minimum Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Required: Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Advanced nursing skills; IV therapy, intervention with emergencies, teaching skills.
