West Coast Treasury & Tax Recruitment Specialist Position Overview Prepare financial statements, maintain general ledger, and perform account reconciliations and related analysis. Conduct monthly cost accounting for materials and finished inventory. Develop monthly profitability forecasts for manufacturing operations. Manage fixed asset accounting and reconcile related accounts. Oversee monthly and year-end close, including audit and tax schedule preparation. Hire, train, and supervise office staff. Ensure compliance with internal control procedures. Provide financial analysis for special projects. Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Identify and act on opportunities for process improvement. Collaborate with company accounting teams and management. Work closely with manufacturing sites in Wisconsin and Alabama, with occasional travel as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA preferred). Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong background in general ledger functions. Experience with audits (external, sales tax, etc.). Preference for candidates with manufacturing experience, especially inventory/cost accounting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven leadership and communication abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. Professional demeanor and team-oriented approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
