We are immediately hiring a Warehouse Hazmat Safety & Training Manager in Miami, FL for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This position will manage warehouse safety and equipment training. Ideal candidate will have DOT, OSHA, EPS as well as hazmat knowledge. Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month Annual Salary Pay: $70,000 - $75,000 per year based on experience Schedule: shift: Monday- Friday 7:00am- 4:30pm (24/7 safety responsibilities) Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish) Essential Functions Develops compliance programs and employee safety management systems for programs/initiatives. Conducts hazard analysis, evaluation, and develops solutions for issues and problems related to employee safety and regulatory compliance. Coordinate/facility safety-related occurrence root cause investigations and implement appropriate corrective actions. Coordinate employee and management SHS training and development needs. Provides day-to-day compliance support to Ryder facilities, including performing facility audits . Additional Responsibilities Support Ryder operations team relative to the leadership of SHS issues. Participate and host vertical-specific training and calls. Develop location safety supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills , Required Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors). Required Qualifications H.S.
