About the Role

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for a pivotal role in corporate accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading corporate accounting operations, ensuring strict compliance with US GAAP and SEC standards, and driving strategic initiatives and process improvements. This role involves managing and mentoring a high-performing team, overseeing financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany accounting, and implementing and optimizing ERP systems to enhance automation and efficiency. The AVP will also be involved in tax planning, capital market transactions, and will be the key figure in developing and enforcing robust SOX compliance frameworks. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in corporate accounting or related roles. A preference is given to those with 12 years' experience, particularly in leadership and technical accounting. Proficiency in US GAAP, SEC regulations, and global accounting standards is essential, as is experience with ERP systems for process optimization. The role requires strong skills in financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany accounting, as well as the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams across global locations. Expertise in SOX compliance and control framework implementation is also a key requirement.
