Details Work in a 38-bed Emergency Department with three main areas: Rapid, Main, and POD 3 (psych-safe area) Unit staffed with 7 day/night RNs and 5 mid-shift RNs Uses ventilators, BiPAP, EKG, arterial lines, Belmont rapid infusers, and chest tube equipment Meditech EMR used for charting 13-week assignment on a 7P-7A night shift schedule Floating to Brookside ED required Minimum of 4 weekend shifts and 2 Friday shifts required per 4-week schedule Holiday coverage required for 2 major and 2 minor holidays Requirements Active RN license (Missouri state or compact) required Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required Required certifications: BLS, TNCC, and CPI (de-escalation) Strong prioritization and time management skills required US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Perform procedures including port placement and chest tube insertion POD 3 area requires adherence to specific psych-safe unit policies Navy blue scrubs required per unit dress code Ideal candidates are patient-focused, detail-oriented, team players with a positive, coachable attitude Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted Two professional references required for Missouri assignments American Traveler Job ID P-743887.
