Associate Attorney

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our business and immigration law firm in the Virginia Beach Town Center. Come work hard at our office on a variety of interesting legal issues while enjoying the work-life balance and flexibility that a boutique firm provides. We will consider both part-time and full-time candidates as well as hybrid remote/in person arrangements. Responsibilities Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on a variety of corporate issues. Draft legal documents, including correspondence, contracts, corporate resolutions, annual reports, tax registrations, leases, deeds, export license applications, and court filings. Liaise with state and federal agencies. Collaborate with managing partner and provide support as needed. Provide timely and effective communication to clients. Maintain accurate case files and corporate record books in compliance with legal standards. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas. Work independently to meet both external and internal deadlines. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar association. 4+ years of experience in corporate law or related legal specialty. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.
