Registered Nurse Operating Room

Role: Surgical Nurse in the Operating Room, responsible for assisting with surgical procedures and patient care. Responsibilities: Perform scrub functions, handling instruments and supplies during surgery. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions, managing overall nursing care before, during, and after procedures. Assist surgeons with tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning. Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures. Qualifications: Current licensure as a registered nurse, obtained from the appropriate state board. Advanced Life Support (ALS) within 6 months and BLS within 1 month of hire or transfer. Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience preferred. Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and organizational skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
