Respiratory Therapist, Full‑Time – Alamosa, CO Salary Range: $28.92 to $40.38 per hour. Sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance may be available. Candidates must be willing to relocate to a rural area. Requirements Graduate of a college or university Respiratory Therapy program (AMA approved). Credentialed with the NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). Active Colorado license in good standing. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within 6 months of hire. Ability to perform basic and selected advanced respiratory care therapeutic procedures as directed and monitored. Responsibilities Perform advanced procedures: ventilator care, suctioning, artificial airway care, resuscitation, bedside spirometry, ABG specimen collection and interpretation, chest X‑ray interpretation. Administer bronchial hygiene and therapeutic procedures: IPPB, Incentive Spirometry, EZ‑PAP, HHN, CPT, aerosol administration, humidification therapy, O₂ therapy. Provide CPR, basic/advanced airway maintenance, smoking cessation and asthma education. Perform EKGs, EEGs, PFTs, Mobile Cardiac Telemetry, Holter and Event Monitor hookups. Maintain organized medical records and utilize clinical forms and EMR for documentation. Benefits Full medical, dental and vision plans with low copays and deductibles.
