JobPurpose The Video Production Intern plays a key role in supporting Red Aspen’s Creative Team by producing short‑form video content that showcases our brand, products, and community. This position provides hands‑on experience in both video production and post‑production, while contributing meaningful content for social media, the website, and events. The purpose of this role is to assist our Videographer with day‑to‑day projects, gain exposure to studio workflows, and strengthen the team’s ability to consistently deliver engaging, on‑brand video content. KeyResponsibilities Shoot and edit short videos (5-10 seconds), producing 1-3 videos per week for use across social media platforms and the company website. Support filming and editing for brand videos, product features, and event coverage, ensuring content aligns with creative direction and brand standards. Assist with studio setup including cameras, lighting, audio, and other production equipment, and help maintain an organized and efficient studio space. Assist in editing a variety of video content, ensuring quality and consistency across platforms. Work with the videographer and creative team to bring concepts to life through visual storytelling. Maintain collaborative relationships with cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Provide hands‑on support during shoots and post‑production, taking on a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Television, Media Production, Communications, or a related field. Experience shooting video with DSLR cameras, including basic knowledge of framing, composition, and camera settings. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar professional editing software). Strong interest in video production, storytelling, and digital media trends. Ability to work in a team environment, take direction, and contribute ideas in a creative, fast‑paced setting. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. Preferred Experience with DaVinci Resolve. Knowledge of audio production. Familiarity with studio lighting setups and techniques. Experience with animation tools or motion graphics to enhance video content. Must have a love for tacos or sushi!
