Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Summary Lead the production line as a Supervisor, overseeing all aspects of manufacturing from yield tracking to real‑time adjustments, while ensuring safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Perform daily inspections of the production floor to identify unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective action. Lead safety audits, champion ergonomic initiatives, and ensure adherence to HACCP and USDA regulations. Maintain product quality by enforcing Food Safety and Food Quality plans and training employees on safe operating procedures. Track and analyze production yields, efficiencies, and variances; work with Operations Managers and Supervisors to improve workflows and reduce downtime. Direct and guide hourly production employees, ensuring alignment on safety, quality, and production goals. Lead monthly line meetings and walk the production floor daily to communicate objectives and results. Analyze key product performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and quality. Oversee routine maintenance and setup of equipment and facilities to maintain peak performance. Train, coach, and motivate the team to achieve production goals while fostering a positive and respectful work environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience, including experience leading or coaching staff. Strong communication skills (oral and written) and proven ability to solve complex process issues. Analytical and mathematical abilities for performance analysis and cost reduction. Adaptability to fast‑paced, dynamic environments, including working in varying temperature conditions and willingness to work long hours, weekends, and 5% travel. Proficiency with SAP, internet tools, spreadsheets, Word, order processing, and inventory software is a plus. Bonus: Bilingual proficiency. Physical Demands & Work Environment Wet or humid conditions, extreme cold and heat, moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals. Lift up to 50 pounds and frequently stand, walk, use hands, and perform repetitive motions. Moderate to loud noise in the production area.
