Locums Interventional Radiologist Outpatient Merrillville, IN Why This Role?

  • Flexible part-time or full-time schedule available
  • 100 percent IR - no diagnostic responsibilities
  • Monday to Friday, no call or weekends
  • Well-staffed outpatient center just 42 miles from Chicago
    • Assignment Details
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: Ongoing
  • Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime shifts only
  • Setting: Outpatient only
  • Patient Population: Adults only
  • Minimum: 5 IR cases/day
    • Clinical Details
  • Procedures required:
    • - Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE) - Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE) - Hemorrhoidal Artery Embolization (HAE) - Uterine Artery Embolization (UAE)
  • Some pain injections (minimal)
  • IR oncology procedures are not currently performed
    • Team & Support
  • 1 Interventional Radiologist
  • 2 NPs, 2 RNs
  • 4 MAs, 4 Ultrasound techs
    • Requirements
  • Board certified in Interventional Radiology
  • Active Indiana license or active IMLC
  • Clean history
  • Proficient in IR embolization procedures
