Millwright Maintenance TechnicianReports To: Millwright ManagerStatus: Non-exemptSalary Range: $17-$22/hour depending on experiencePurpose And Summary Statement: Works closely on a millwright crew to perform repairs and maintenance at grain and agronomy facilitiesEssential Job Functions:Performs maintenance and repairs of equipment as requestedHelps maintain an appropriate inventory of parts necessary for repairs and maintenanceResponsible for housekeeping of the shop and on-site work areasOther Job Functions: Performs all other duties as assignedRequirements:Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 1 or more years of related work experienceRequired skills include fabrication, cutting, welding, bearing replacement, paintingAbility to follow installation/assembly instructionsDemonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill developmentMust have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving recordFrequently exposed or required to:Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.)Noisy conditionsWorking conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measuresWill be required climb ladders to work at varying heights – Grain legs, bins, tanksConfined spacesLift 51-70 poundsRequired to push heavy objectsAbility to work extended hours in peak season.We are dedicated to supporting the long-term financial well-being of our employees through a fully funded pension, a cornerstone benefit that ensures security for the future.
