About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Medical-Surgical setting License: Must have active state nursing license Certifications: Required BLS Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years experience in Medical-Surgical nursing in a hospital setting Description: Licensed nurses are needed for a Med-Surg unit. The unit features 27 beds and is staffed with 5-6 registered nurses and 2-3 nursing assistants. A charge nurse is present on both day and night shifts. Patient ratios are 5-6 patients per registered nurse. The unit is equipped with Hoyer lifts, Continuous Passive Motion devices, and an EMR system. Typical procedures include orthopedic surgeries such as knees, hips, shoulders, and cervical surgeries, as well as bariatric procedures. We value collaborative team members who focus on patient care. Floating to medical oncology may be required. Scrubs are the required attire. Weekends are scheduled as 4 shifts within a 4-week period.
