Inventory reconciliation specialist

job summary:
Our client is seeking an Inventory Reconciliation Specialist to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will work closely with the Operations and Cycle Count teams. You will act as the \"data detective\" on our floor-responsible for investigating inventory discrepancies, executing complex financial and logistical transactions in SAP, and building the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that ensure aerospace compliance.

• Execute inventory reconciliations, variance analysis, and data adjustments within the ERP system, ensuring our physical warehouse stock perfectly matches the system records.
  
  
• Dig deep into transaction histories. Use your problem-solving skills to find out why inventory discrepancies happen, identify process gaps, and suggest corrective actions to Warehouse Management.
  
  
• Tactical Floor Auditing (75% of Time) : Lead high-precision cycle counts, physical audits, targeted recounts, and track down missing materials to maintain rigorous aerospace quality standards.
  
  
• Help write clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and serve as the main trainer for warehouse inventory associates.
  
  
• Provide real-time floor support to Operations Supervisors and hourly associates to rapidly resolve inventory bottlenecks.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience navigating ERP systems ( SAP highly preferred ) with a good understanding of how warehouse transactions work.

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse inventory control, preferably in the aerospace industry and/or
  inventory reconciliation

• Possess strong foundational math and analytical skills

• Must be able to work overtime if needed
