Entry Level Water Resources Engineer

Job Description Dewberry's Baltimore, MD office is currently seeking an Entry Level Water Resources Engineer to perform a technical role under the direction of a project engineer/manager for a wide range of design services. Individual will perform concept and final designs for drainage, stormwater management and erosion & sediment control, cost estimation, analyze hydrologic and hydraulic models, prepare technical reports, watershed master planning, stream restoration, and water quality studies for transportation and environmental projects. Required Skills & Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental/Agriculture Engineering with a focus in Water Resources or related field is required Knowledge of floodplain delineation, storm water management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design 0 - 3 years of experience; previous internship(s) preferred Working knowledge in CADD platforms such as Microstation Knowledge of hydraulic programs such as TR-20, TR-55, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ABSCOUR and HY-8 and GIS software is a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills are required Proficiency in MS Office software Ability to work in a team environment Participate in field work as needed Engineer-In-Training is preferred Don’t meet every single requirement?
