Inside Sales Representative – Location: Sedalia, Missouri Help students create lasting memories in yearbooks. Through direct marketing via mail, telephone calls, website inquiries, response cards, etc., the representative is responsible for increasing sales in both their specific territory and for the team as a whole within the goals and guidelines set by management for accountability. External communications will include, but will not necessarily be limited to public and private school teachers, administrators, parent/student organizations, photographers, territory representatives, and private individuals. Customer service is provided on orders from order entry through the post-shipment time frame with interaction between the customer, representative, manufacturing, and accounting. Internal communications will include, but will not necessarily be limited to other representatives of the Sales and Customer Service team, Information Systems, Accounting, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Management. JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS:

Responsibilities Direct marketing via mail, telephone calls, website inquiries, response cards, etc., to increase sales in the representative’s territory and for the team as a whole within management-established goals. Engage with external contacts including public and private school teachers, administrators, parent/student organizations, photographers, territory representatives, and private individuals. Provide customer service on orders from entry through post-shipment, coordinating with customers, manufacturing, and accounting. Coordinate internal communications with other Sales and Customer Service team members, Information Systems, Accounting, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Management. Maintain alignment with the company’s sales goals and accountability guidelines. Qualifications Minimum education required is a high school diploma or GED. An associate’s or college degree is preferred. Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this position. Must have a working knowledge of basic office procedures, including keyboarding. Knowledge or experience with a CRM software package, or customer database software is preferred. Knowledge of basic accounting functions would be helpful, but not required. Good communicator with pleasant telephone voice. Proven sales experience is desired; inside sales experience preferred. Bi-lingual in Spanish would be preferred. Compensation Paid an hourly wage with an uncapped commission paid quarterly if sales goals are met. Salary range is $33,280 - $35,000 annually with commission of 11% of sales growth paid quarterly. Benefits We care about your health.
