Registered Nurse - OR

Job Description
We're looking for a RegisteredNurse to care for our patients withcompassionand one who canfacilitate their speedyrecovery.The candidate will be responsible for educating them andtheirfamilies on prevention methods and healthy habits. Ideally,thecandidate should be a responsible, gentleand well-trained professionalwho can provide exceptional nursing care with minimal supervisionwhilst following health and safety guidelines faithfully andconsistently. The goal is to promote the patient's well-being byproviding high quality nursing care.

• Monitor patient's condition and assess theirneeds to provide the best possible care.
• Observe and interpret patient's symptoms andcommunicate them to physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses todevise individualized care plans for patients.
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressuremeasurements, administering injections etc.) and fill inpatient's charts.
• Adjust and administer patient's medication(s)and provide treatments according to the physician'sorders.
• Inspect the facilities and act to maintainexcellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment,sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.).
• Provide instant medical care inemergencies.
• Assist surgeons during operations.
• Supervise and train LPNs and nursingassistants.
• Foster a supportive and compassionateenvironment to care for patients and their families.
• Expandtheir knowledge and capabilities by attending educationalworkshops, conferences etc.

The Same Day Surgery Nurse is accountable for general nursing care to surgical inpatient and outpatient populations. In this role, you will use

critical thinking skills, professional judgment and leadership to anticipate, plan, direct and evaluate the care of the patients provided by a team of

ancillary personnel. Here at Insight, we strive to treat patients with the compassion and respect they deserve. You will play a pivotal role in

providing reassurance to the patient and family that they have received proper care instructions and what to expect. You will utilize advanced

practice skills, clear and effective communication, and overall compassion to meet the unique needs of each patient. This position collaborates with

other members of the healthcare team to ensure patient care plans are implemented and monitored for effectiveness. This position requires 8 hour

shifts Monday-Friday (7AM- 3:30PM).

Requirements

• Provenexperience as a registered nurse.
• Excellentknowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• Excellentknowledge of emergency care.
• In-depthknowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures(sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to followthem at all times.
• A team playerwith excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible andcompassionate.
• Outstandingorganizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Patient withexcellent problem-solving skills.
• B.Sc or otherdiploma from a nursing program.
• A valid nursinglicense.

Benefits
$38,000 to $52,000 salary based on experience

Shift Monday - Friday/7am - 3:30pm
