Job Title: 2nd Shift Cleanroom Tech Helper

Job Description

Join a leading supplier of surgical one-time-use items, instruments, and kits for hospitals and healthcare product manufacturers as a Cleanroom Tech Helper on the Colimatic line. This role involves operating automated packaging equipment and performing various tasks in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automated packaging equipment under limited supervision.
• Complete routine setups including changeovers and parts loading.
• Perform all Assembler and Production Packer roles and requirements.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in work areas.
• Conduct quality checks and production reporting.
• Assist the Production Supervisor in achieving day-to-day safety, quality, and production goals.
• Conform to proper Clean Room environmental controls.
• Perform other duties as needed to move throughout departments and learn different skills such as assembly and quality.
• Contribute to team efforts by completing assigned projects.

Essential Skills

• Experience in cleanroom operations.
• Ability to operate basic production equipment.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to reach and lift up to 40 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred 2 years of experience in cleanroom, medical assembly, equipment operation, or warehouse.
• Proven team leader capabilities.
• Ability to work as a floater between production, assembly, and warehouse.
• Insightful and enthusiastic leadership skills.
• Ability to identify improvements and modifications to departmental procedures.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom environment with a total of 18 temps. Adhere to specific attire requirements such as scrubs, white coat, gloves, hair net, and restrictions on makeup, jewelry, eyelashes, and nails. Be comfortable working in a primarily Spanish-speaking environment, with basic English skills required. The shift runs from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, with mandatory pre-shift availability. Set breaks occur after 4 hours, with facilities available for water and bathroom use, requiring communication with the lead for gowning procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Placentia, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
