Sales Engineer

Overview Talos Engineering, Inc. is a high-tech Automation Services firm based in Richland, WA. Talos is seeking a new Sales Engineer. The Sales Engineer works with engineering staff, equipment vendors, Account Manager, and client representatives to prepare technical information to be used in proposals. Main Duties / Key Tasks Interface with client and Account Manager to determine feasibility of project under consideration. Suggest alternatives where appropriate. Work with client and Account Manager to obtain clarity on technical approach proposed. Prepare pre-bid RFI’s where appropriate. Based on client conversations and / or supplied RFP, determine materials, software, and subcontractors required to implement proposed solution. Prepare labor estimates for engineering work. Draft technical summaries for inclusion in proposals. Present technical details of proposed solution to clients and answer associated technical questions. Maintain Technical Training Maintain familiarity with present and state-of-the art industrial automation approaches and solutions. Requirements College Degree in Engineering or Related Technical Field Experience designing and implementing industrial automation solutions Valid Current Driver’s License Preferred Experience in Technical Sales Familiarity with Regional Industrial Clients #J-18808-Ljbffr Talos Engineering, Inc.
