Forklift Operator I

Forklift Operator I Team member safely and efficiently operates a motorized forklift to load and unload trucks, pull pallets of finished product from production lines, and place finished product in the warehouse as directed by the onboard WMS system. Responsibilities Operate and control a forklift to move pallets and manage inventory. Unload, stack, and relocate material, ensuring proper placement and safety. Plan supply and material requirements by studying production schedules and scheduling deliveries. Retrieve supplies and materials, verify specifications, and secure pallets on trucks. Maintain inventory in production areas, track usage, and report discrepancies. Clear production areas by moving finished and empty pallets. Document actions by logging movements of supplies, materials, and finished goods. Maintain a safe work environment by monitoring foot traffic, following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations. Follow operating instructions to keep the forklift functioning, troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, and arrange for repairs. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Minimum Qualifications 0 Years experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment. 0 Years experience in a similar position. 0 Years experience managing people or projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education). Proven ability to safely operate a sit-down motorized forklift. Ability to navigate within a WMS system.
