Come join Team Atlantis! The Lead Baker is responsible for overseeing the consistent quantity and quality of all bakery products and production on a daily basis. The Lead Baker will assist the Bakery Management Team with training Team Members to improve baking and decorating skills, enforcing policies and procedures, ensuring that all sanitation rules and regulations are being followed (which includes bleach buckets, wearing of hats, gloves, etc.), and ensuring product is properly ordered, rotated, and organized. Responsibilities Make sure all orders are filled and delivered if necessary. Provide the highest quality that we can give. Oversee and help in product rotation, like with the fruit, dairy products, etc. Check all orders on a daily basis, to make sure that all is ready to go. Help fill out production forms. Let supervisors know if in need of supplies to continually getting the job done at hand. Help organize, condense, and clean the freezers and walk-in. Help put away any stock that comes in and to keep all items orderly. Maintain food safety and sanitation protocol pertaining to the bakery. Qualifications Previous experience as a Baker or Culinary degree preferred. 3 years’ experience in a lead/supervisory role. General knowledge of all aspects pertaining to the bakery. Must have a general knowledge of all aspects pertaining to the bakery. Must have a positive and energetic attitude and show initiative. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots, pans, and trays. Be able to lift 50 pounds safely. Comfortable working in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment. Be able to stand for long periods of the time. Must be able to move freely in confined spaces. Appearance Standards Must adhere to all appearance standards, including but not limited to no visible tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors.
